What brought you to CASA?

Looking for a new opportunity.

 

Where did you work and what was your role prior to coming to CASA?

I worked as a School Counselor for 15 years with the West Shore School District at Red Land High School. 

 

What is your favorite part of working at CASA?

 I love the passion and energy of the students.

What is your connection to the arts? How are you an artist?

As a child and all through high school I danced with a local dance studio. I have a passion for dance. As an adult I have enjoyed painting and getting involved in other artistic hobbies.

What do you feel is your impact on our school community, students, and culture?

 I would like to believe as the school counselor at CASA, I promote academic achievement, foster emotional well-being, and help prepare students for future success. I assist with creating an environment where students feel supported and empowered to reach their potential.

What advice do you have for our students?

Work hard, dream big and never give up!

Do you advise any clubs at CASA? 

Last year I served as the senior class advisor to help coordinate fundraising and the senior class trip.

Many wouldn't know that I served in the US Army Reserves and completed the Marine Corp Marathon.
